Co-creating A Better World

Heart Cards - The Heart Based Life Posted on October 26, 2021 by BentonOctober 26, 2021

Message From Lorraine:

“For many years I have enjoyed meditative practices to support my balance and well-being. Yet, the pandemic took this to another level as I began enjoying longer and more frequent periods of my favorite heart meditation practice. I would often lie down and my two cats would be lovingly relaxing right by me. I felt their love supporting me during this heart focused meditative time. I entered deep, expansive states of awareness of who we all really are in our true essence, and of the interconnectedness of all life. I felt all the qualities we associate with our spiritual heart magnified.

These various “Heart Thoughts Make Me Strong” affirmations arose clearly in my consciousness and felt like Truth. I kept a pen and paper nearby and jotted them down as they came to me over the course of several months. These cards remind us of those truths we already know deep inside of ourselves.
I invite you to keep remembering that we can co-create a better world for everyone even in challenging times.”

A Delightful Experience with the Cards

Heart Cards - The Heart Based Life Posted on October 22, 2021 by BentonOctober 22, 2021

Sharing a delightful experience I just had. While taking some late afternoon relaxation time, I had the impulse (first time ever) to place the entire Heart Cards deck in the little organza bag on top of my chest/heart area and I placed one hand on top of the deck. I felt a strong transmission of expansive heart energy envelop me. Never even read a card. Has anyone else tried this? Would love to hear your experience. Maybe you have done this with other things special to you.

Being Your Own Best Valentine

Heart Cards - The Heart Based Life Posted on February 9, 2021 by jgadminFebruary 12, 2021

Posting again what I wrote a few years ago in case anyone needs support in “Being Your Own Best Valentine” ❤

We all know the scriptural quote “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

This implies we must love ourselves first.

However, it often helps to access the feeling of love for ourselves by first focusing on love for someone or something else.

So let’s prepare now for an experience of a brief self-love “soak”. We can do this in as little as 2 or 3 minutes.

Begin to focus your attention on the area around your heart. (place a hand over your heart if that is helpful to you)
Now begin to breathe into the heart and out from the heart with a few slow, relaxed breaths.
Now call forth a feeling of love or appreciation for someone or something in your life. (it can be love for a precious pet)
Once you begin to resonate to and anchor in this positive feeling, begin to direct this love, care, appreciation, or compassion to yourself.
Soak that feeling in – feel it in your body like a warm glow. Rest in this feeling as long as you’d like.

When you complete this exercise, notice how much more open, loving, and compassionate you feel, not only for yourself but for all others.

This is one powerful way to access self-love. I recommend you do this exercise at least twice a day to build your energy of love.
Be ready to notice the positive shifts in your life from this simple exercise.

With Valentine’s Day coming soon, this is an amazing gift to give to yourself – almost as good as chocolate! When you are your own best Valentine, your world transforms.
You are no longer needy – you are the source of love. This is true empowerment.

With Heartfelt Love,
Lorraine
